Free Food on Your Birthday: 4 Offers, Terms Checked
Some chains give you free food on your birthday. All four below need an account first. We read each chain's own rewards page and terms, and wrote down the rules. It is a short list. Every row is on the chain's own page.
We did not order anything. We do not promise the chain will give you the item. The chain decides. If a row did not work for you, tell us. We will recheck it within one day.
How it works
- Sign up. Join the chain's rewards program and add your birthday. Do it early: Starbucks needs 7 days.
- Check the terms. Read the row below, then open the chain's page. Look for a purchase rule and how long the reward lasts.
- Claim it. On your birthday, open the app or your account. Use the reward before it expires. A Starbucks Green reward lasts one day, so no sleeping in.

"Not stated" means the chain's page does not say. It does not mean "no". Ask the store if you are not sure.
After a report, a row shows "Being rechecked" next to its date until we check it again.

Why so few rows?
We put a chain in the main list only when its own page names the free item and its pages agree. Many chains say "a birthday surprise" or "something sweet" and stop there. That may be a nice surprise. We list those chains in the short section above, in their own words. Some chains name an item on one page and allow "a discount instead" in their terms. Those stay off. When a chain's page names the item, we move it to the main list.
Good to know
- Add your birthday before you need it. Starbucks needs 7 days of notice. Chipotle and Nothing Bundt Cakes do not state a deadline, so earlier is safer.
- Watch the clock. A Starbucks Green member's reward lasts one day. Chipotle's lasts your birthday month.
- Not every Starbucks takes rewards. The Starbucks page says rewards work at participating cafés, and not all cafés can honor them right now. Check its café locator first.
- Starbucks needs one paid purchase first. Its terms say you must make at least one Star-earning purchase before your birthday, each year.
How we check
We open each chain's own rewards page and terms page in a real browser. We write down the item, the purchase rule, the account rule, the sign-up deadline and how long the reward lasts. We save a screenshot. We do not use other coupon sites as a source. Every week we open the same pages again. If the terms changed or the page is gone, we fix the row or take it off. Read our editorial policy.
