The code takes $30.00 off the $100.00 diamond order, leaving $70.00. The cashback is then worked out on that $70.00, returning $7.00 and bringing the net cost to $63.00. The two percentages do not add together into one figure, because the cashback is a share of the smaller total the discount leaves behind. On a fragrance or leather order the code does not apply, and the cashback on a $100.00 basket would be $10.00.
